When to Use Scrub Seal for Repairs

Serving Kansas and Oklahoma

The scrub seal process is an extremely cost-effective way to eliminate mass cracking in asphalt pavements. It fills cracks better than traditional crack sealing, especially on very old pavement, and provides a tough, durable surface.

Circle C Pavement’s scrub seal process starts with a membrane of modified binder scrubbed (or brushed with a broom) into cracks or voids in the roadway. Like chip sealing, scrub sealing helps protect against aging and oxidation, prevent water intrusion, and can be performed with minimal traffic interruption.
